TOKUJIN YOSHIOKA

Tokujin Yoshioka established Tokujin Yoshioka Design Office in 2000. His experimental and innovative creations in a wide range of fields from design to art and architecture are highly acclaimed worldwide.
His numerous works are in the permanent collections of major museums around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Musée d'Orsay, and the Centre Georges Pompidou. He has won numerous design awards worldwide, including the Elle Deco International Design Awards (EDIDA) 2009 Designer of the Year. He was also selected as one of the "100 Japanese People the World Respects" by the Japanese edition of Newsweek magazine.

This international design award is reserved for works of the highest standard that are pioneering. Among a limited number of nominees, the "Special" award is given for excellence, and the "Winner" is given for even greater excellence. We are the first Japanese company to win a Winner in the kitchen category.

Elle Deco International Design Award 2016, Kitchen Category

The Design Awards, also known as the Academy Awards of the design world. Each year, the editor-in-chief of each country selects outstanding products and designers in 33 countries around the world. Toyo Kitchen Style is the first Japanese brand to win the International Award in the kitchen category.
